My husband, Rick, and I embarked on our international travel journey in 2006 with our three young children. We ventured through four European countries, relying solely on train travel and staying in seven different hotels, over a three-week period. Our family of five, along with both sets of grandparents and a niece, made this adventure a roaring success due to meticulous planning. This trip gave us the confidence to travel with young children to far-flung places.
A year later, we trekked with our four-year-old to Swaziland and South Africa for two weeks. These experiences ignited my wanderlust, and I began compiling a long wish list of destinations I aspired to visit.
After retiring from over 30+ years in the corporate tax arena and visiting over 25 countries, I decided to channel my passion for travel into a new venture. In 2023, I founded TraveLAB with a fiery passion to design unique travel experiences that create lifelong memories.
