My career in travel began at Eastern Airlines, starting in reservations and moving up to management. After Eastern closed in 1991, I moved onto retail travel, ending up managing and operating one of the best luxury travel agencies in Atlanta for over 25 years. The opportunity came to open my own agency with my partner Michelle in 2019. With the support of the best travel advisors in Atlanta, and our stellar travel partners, we are now thriving after the pandemic. In addition to overseeing the daily operations at Elevations, I work with my clients planning their itineraries and crafting leisure travel around the globe.
While I have been fortunate to see many places around the world, two of my favorite destinations are Alaska and Hawaii. Why? Whale Watching! You can see the humpback whales on their migratory path in two completely different situations: Hawaii in February where they nurture their newborn calves and Alaska in June, just outside of Juneau where the whales settle into their summer feeding grounds. Just like the whales, these are experiences I try to repeat again and again.
